Often times we find inspiration can come from nearly anything. So was the case with Kate & Spikes southwestern desert inspired wedding day. Kate loved the vibrant and muted colors of the desert terrain and the craftsmanship of the southwestern regions. She intricately incorporated many items & decor from the southwestern regions into her wedding. The shawl she & her bridesmaids wore were straight from Marfa, Texas as well the stunning hand beaded earrings made by Weave Gold. Kate & Spike selected the beautiful Pine Island Lodge, in Corolla North Carolina to host their dream wedding on the beach. We were contacted by their wonderful planner/coordinator duo Taylor & Samantha of Coastyle Weddings & Events to design a lounge and seating chart display and provide rentals such as bars, cocktail tables, bride and groom chairs, ceremony arch & aisle runner rugs. The design was more beautiful than any of us vendors could have imagined and although it was 40 degrees that day, no one seemed to mind. Color lovers here is one for you! A fiesta inspired wedding in the dunes of Jockey’s Ridge and it was featured on Tidewater & Tulle! Being located on the coast of the Outer Banks of North Carolina we do our fair share of beach inspired weddings. And we love every one! But this coastal wedding was an absolute dream! Mark & Alex’s wedding truly captured the relaxed “swept away” beach style that the beach and this couple embodied. From the wispy ceremony site in the dunes to the beautifully designed dockside reception site, the wedding encompassed a casual grace in every way. Possibly why it was selected and featured on the STYLE ME PRETTY blog! Heather Balliet of Amorology worked closely with all vendors to curate the design the bride and Heather had envisioned. Cocktail lounges provided by A+A were paired and designed by Heather to compliment the brides sea green and blush palette. Our rattan shelving made the perfect display for the decadent chocolate fudge & sea salt caramel glaze personal cakes. Drooling. The white wood farm tables were specifically designed and built by A+A for Alex and Mark’s wedding day. And now you can find them in our rentals collection. THE PONDEROSA: Casual yet refined and OH SO confident. The Italian meaning of ‘ponderosa’ means strong and powerful. The word also happens to be a species of evergreen tree’s whom bud fragrant flowers and stand impecably tall. This femme fatale lounge has all the charm of Daisy Buchanan (Great Gatsby) and the sass of Scarlett O’Hara (Gone with the Wind).
